SUMMARY:12th Annual Cheese Curd Festival Parade
DESCRIPTION:It's a fiesta con queso this year in Ellsworth! We encourage parade participants to reflect our festival theme we will be awarding trophies and prize money to entries in the categories of Best Royalty and Best Queso Theme. \n\n The parade will be June 30\, beginning at 1 pm\, and lasting approximately one hour. Participants will register at the Ellsworth Ambulance Station on the corner of Plum & Spruce Streets beginning at 1 pm\, with line-up organized in order of registration. \n\n Once again\, the parade route will be as follows: from the Ambulance Station\, north on Plum Street\; east on Highway 10 past East End Park\; north on Broadway or south on Utility to disburse. \n\n This route is approximately one mile\; walkers will be expected to keep up with the motorized units. \n\n Participation in the Cheese Curd Festival Parade is free for Members of the Ellsworth Area Chamber of Commerce\, Honor Guards\, Non-Profit (no paid staff) Service Organizations\, Royalty and School Bands.
